National mutton prices rose nearly 30% year-on-year

The monitoring data shows that since August, the country’s mutton prices have continued to rise. After the Mid-Autumn Festival, the price of mutton has dropped slightly, and prices have increased since September 16. Compared with August 1, on September 18, prices of bone-free fresh lamb and bone-in fresh lamb rose by 4.9% and 5.7% respectively. From a regional perspective, more than 70% of the provinces, municipalities, and municipalities have increased the price of fresh mutton, and Hubei, Chongqing, and Tianjin have topped the list, with 16.7%, 13.6%, and 13.3% respectively. Nearly 90% of the provinces, districts, and cities have increased prices for mutton and mutton. Jiangsu, Tianjin, and Anhui topped the list, with 16.4%, 15.2%, and 13.4% respectively.
