What is the main key to fish stocking?

In addition to the above-mentioned reasonable density and robust physical fitness, the key to the stocking of fingerlings must also pay attention to the following issues in order to ensure a higher survival rate and a faster growth rate:
(1) Early stocking of the stocking season and time is an effective measure to increase the survival rate of fish, extend the growth period, and increase production. In the past ten years, the stocking time has generally been advanced throughout the country. In most fish farms, ponds are cleared immediately after winter food ponds have been discharged, and fish stocks are stocked. Generally, stocking is completed at the end of January and early February. At this time, the temperature and water temperature are both low and the fish activity is weak. It is not easy to be injured during the fishing and stocking. Even if a few fish are injured, the fish body can be easily restored to health after being sterilized, which can reduce the morbidity and mortality during the breeding period. Early in the winter, the fish can adapt to the new environment as soon as possible and eat early. It was observed that in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, even in the coldest month of February, fish have been feeding in small quantities on sunny days. It has also been found that fish are eaten early in the winter and the fish is robust and grows fast. Fish stocking must be done on a sunny day to avoid frostbite when the fingerlings are exposed in the air. The northern region avoids catching or stocking fingerlings during the season of severe freezing (ie, when the fish effluent is quickly frozen).
(2) Disinfection of fingerlings Fish species must be disinfected before stocking, usually using 3% salt water for 5 minutes. In spring and summer, the bathing time is shortened when the fish species is put in the rotation.
