Due to Lu Yu's recommendation, Yangshuo Tea was famous throughout the country and was loud and noisy. Since then, Yangshuo tea has been selected as a tribute tea, so it is known as "Yangshu tribute tea."

Yangshuo Tea

In the Yuan Dynasty, Yangchao tea was promoted to frontier ethnic minorities due to the war. "Wanlizhi" volume 4 records: "Each year, we recommend the introduction of 90 new teas, 1,000 gold teas and 400 ten tea buds." Assuming today's 33.5 liters, it should be said that the number of Yangshuo teas in the Yuan Dynasty is very impressive. In order to suit the tastes of the Mongolian aristocrats, in addition to the tribute teahouses, the Yuan Dynasty set up a tribute government office named "The Tea Mill", which also manages the tribute tea in Yixing. In the Ming Dynasty, Yangshuo tea was still a tribute. During the Chongzhen years, teahouses began to be set up, and tea drinking was further popularized. The court adopted more comprehensive management measures for the production and distribution of tea, and specifically established the “Tea Board” and the “tea guide.” Yixing still retains tea cultural relics such as tea bureau lanes and tea kiosks. During the hundreds of years of the Qing Dynasty, with the economic development and social changes, the Yixing tea industry rose up and down, but the celebrities and literary talents at the upper level still liked Yangshuo tea very much. They also praised Zishahu for drinking tea and purple sand. The pot reached its peak. Since the Republic of China, people from Yixing to tea in the teahouse have become an indispensable part of daily life for some people. Yixing people love to drink tea and friends come from afar and must pay homage to tea.

Today, Lutong Cottage, which is open to visitors at the Yangshuo Tea Eco-tourism Park in Yixing, Zhuhai, will reproduce the faint sight of the tea and immortals.
