National beef prices rose nearly 30% year-on-year

According to the national system of agricultural and sideline products and agricultural product price monitoring, compared with the previous day (the same below), prices of vegetables, fruits, and aquatic products fluctuate slightly on September 19, while prices of meat and edible oil rose. The price of finished foodstuffs rose steadily; the prices of eggs and milk were basically stable.

Of the 21 species of vegetables monitored, 8 prices rose, 10 prices fell, and 3 prices remained flat. The price of pig rear hip tip rose 0.1%, pork pork rose 0.1%, and beef price rose 0.2%. The prices of boneless fresh lamb and boned fresh mutton rose by 0.1%.

The monitoring data shows that since April this year, the national beef price has increased significantly. Since late July, it has continuously hit a record high since monitoring, and the year-on-year increase continues to expand. Compared with April 1, the prices of mutton and mutton rose by 14.5% and 14.9% respectively on September 19. From the regional point of view, the prices of beef in monitoring provinces, regions, and cities all increased, and those in Jilin, Tianjin, and Shanghai increased. Before, between 21.0% - 25.3%.
