Using cage culture

Cage rearing is the use of lakes, reservoirs and other large and medium-sized waters to set up cages for intensive farming.

The cage structure cage is a double-enclosed square hexahedron. The inner layer is made of knotless mesh and the outer layer is made of polyethylene mesh. The cages are generally 20-30 square meters, 2-3 meters high and 3 cm mesh. The common specifications are 5 meters, 5 meters and 2.5 meters. Leave 1 meter wide mouth at the top of the box so that the growth of the fish can be observed at any time and the dead fish bait can be salvaged.

Cages The cage is best set in a water area where the water flow is slow, the water level is stable, the shelter is sunny, and the bottom is flat. No obstacles are required on the bottom of the water, the water depth is more than 3.5 meters, and the water is clear without serious pollution.

The cage setup can be either floating or fixed. The floating type is to float the cage on the water by means of the buoyancy of the float and the frame, suitable for large and medium-sized waters with unstable water level and open water. The fixed type is to support and fix the cage in the water with wooden stakes or cement piles hitting the bottom of the water. It is suitable for shallow water lakes and peaceful prototype reservoirs with small water level changes. The distance between cages is 2-3 meters and the spacing is about 20 meters.

The species of fish stocked with eel can be selected from the following varieties: 澎 鲫 鲫, 高 高, 芙 鲫, Founder 鲫, 湘 湘. Cage rearing generally adopts single breeding mode, and can also be used together with a certain percentage of cockroaches, cockroaches, and squid. It is generally controlled at 3% to 5% of the total stocking rate, and stocks of 50g/sq. 200 tails. Store at a water temperature of 10°C or more in the spring and let it go once. Fish species require uniform specifications, robust physique, and no disease or injury.

The feed is fed with compound feed with a protein content of 32% or more. The reference formula is: 5%-15% of imported fishmeal, 20%-30% of soybean meal, 10%-20% of rice cake, 40% of bran, etc. Additives and growth promoters are 5%.

After the fish species enters the box, they begin domestication and feeding, one each in the morning and one in the afternoon. When feeding, knock out a fixed sound and spread the material to the center of the cage at a time, and domesticate for 20-30 minutes each time. Usually after 7-10 days, the squid will go up and catch food.

After successful domestication, they are transferred to normal feeding. Each time they knock out a fixed sound, they spread the material to the cage at the same time, and then slow down slowly and slowly until most of the fish are full. Each feed is about 30 minutes.

When the water temperature is lower than 18°C, feed 2 times a day; when the water temperature is 18-22°C, feed 3-4 times a day; when the water temperature exceeds 22°C, feed 4-6 times a day. Feeding during the day and not bait at night.

Day-to-day management Check the box once every 10 days, brush the box frequently, repair the hole, remove the dead fish and the surrounding dirt. During drought and flood seasons, cages should be kept aground or washed away by floods, and cages should be moved and fixed in time.

Fish disease prevention fish species before entering the box, with 3% -5% salt water dip fish body for 10-30 minutes. The water in the cage area was disinfected once every half month, and 100 grams of a solid chlorine dioxide disinfectant was dissolved in 1 kg of water. After a few minutes, the water was stirred well and then spilled. The oxytetracycline baits are given once every 10-15 days, and 20 g is added for every 100 kg of feed.
