Cloning technology is entering the dairy industry in new ways

According to the U.S. Dairy Coalition, cloning technology is hoping to enter the dairy industry with unique technological advantages. Perhaps it will come sooner or later. Although many people are skeptical. At this time scientists and jurists are arguing about the ethics of cloning. The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University has used a new biotechnology technology to clone breeding stock to provide a large number of excellent breeding stocks to meet the needs of producing a large number of outstanding dairy cows. According to Ray Page, chief scientist of Cyagra's cloning laboratory, we can already use the little dander of excellent breeding stocks as a source of breeding stock, and we can completely reproduce the same breeding stock as its mother. This technology can rapidly "breed" a large number of award winning famous breeders or cows with excellent production performance. Gordon Doak, chairman of the National Animal Breeding Alliance, said that the number of breeders with excellent performance currently is very limited and they cannot produce enough sperm to meet the needs of the entire dairy industry. In order to speed up the improvement, this technology has advantages. The US Food and Drug Administration immediately stated that the relevant departments are currently studying a series of issues related to livestock cloning in order to formulate corresponding regulations and policies. Prior to this, it was hoped that the industry would not use this technology.
