How to cultivate Chai yam

Chai yam is a perennial herb of Dioscoreaceae. The fleshy chunks are cylindrical, curved and slightly flat; the surface is yellowish-white or brownish-yellow, with pronounced longitudinal wrinkles, and a few root marks; the white section has a granular silt. In the daily diet, the reason why Chai yam is loved by people is because Chai Shan has both medicine and food. It can both replenish grains and provide nourishing products. It is good for the stomach, spleen, and intestines. It also eats more food and does not hurt the stomach. Sweet, it's a long time to eat. Now the cultivation techniques of Chai yam are summarized as follows: There are two methods for the propagation of Chai yam: Chaishan medicinal eggs breeding and tuber root division and propagation. The use of Chaishan medicinal eggs breeds, because of containing less nutrients, planting only about 20cm a year, or even smaller. The tuber roots were cut and planted after the yam was harvested. The roots were cut from the top 10 cm to 15 cm. Using this method of breeding, although more economical, rapid germination, but contains less nutrients, the root formation after planting is small. If most of the cuts are made from roots, weights of 70g to 100g are appropriate. 2. Deep-spotting the land preparation: pick up the bricks and stones during the site preparation to avoid root deformities. The depth of the ground is about 45cm. As soon as the previous crop is harvested, it is turned to the ground as soon as possible to prepare for the next crop. 3. Adding basic fertilizer: Deeply plow 5000 kilograms of organic fertilizer before applying M. shallow ploughing. Shallow ploughing when Mushi bicarbonate ammonia 10 kg or compound fertilizer 15 kg, and plow into the soil. Decomposed organic fertilizer can also be applied from 500 kg to 1,000 kg. When the base fertilizer is less or the quality is poor, it can be directly applied to the planting ditch as a seed fertilizer. 4. Timely sowing: sowing is generally in April, and it is better to grow seedlings in the frost-free period. 5. Reasonable dense planting: Under normal circumstances, planted with Chaiyama herbs, plant spacing is 6cm30cm ~ 12cm30cm, the leading row spacing is 15cm16cm ~ 30cm16cm. When the next kind of seedlings pay attention to the leader spacing is based on the distance between the germination points. 6. Field management: After pouring water in general, it can emerge after half a month. Before and after emergence, excrement can be applied to acupuncture points in acupuncture points. When the height of the seedlings is 30cm, the height of the seedlings is generally used. The low frame can be used for cotton straw or bark to make it airy and transparent, followed by timely removal of weeds in the field. 7. Harvest: After October, Chai yam has stopped growing. When the leaves are dry after frost, remove the scaffold first, then carefully dig the yam to prevent damage.
