Horsemint is native to Quebec, Canada and Michigan, USA. Strong growth, drought tolerance, cold resistance, no choice of soil, but in the humus rich, well-drained loam grows better, only the original stallion peppermint taboo. The plant height is about lOOcm, and stems are four-sided and soft. Leaves thin, opposite, ovate to ovate-lanceolate. Inflorescences clustered on top of stem, corolla simple red, long 3.5 ~ 5cm, flowering from June to September. Spring or autumn sowing or propagation. With rich colors and long flowering duration, it is suitable for flower diameter planting or sloping field planting. There are about 18 species of the same genus, which are found in cultivated M. fistulosa and M. punctata.
