Out of the misuse of microbial pesticides

In the current pollution-free cultivation of vegetables, fruits and other crops, microbial pesticides have received increasing attention. In order to improve the use of microbiological living effects, it is necessary to guard against misunderstandings when applying them.

Misunderstanding 1: The temperature during application is too low. Some farmers in the application of microbial living pesticides, do not pay attention to environmental factors, do not choose to use the weather under higher temperature conditions, and even in winter and early spring cold weather conditions, it did not achieve the desired control effect. This is because biological pesticides require higher temperatures when they are applied. Tests have shown that between 25°C and 30°C, the control effect of the live microbial pesticide after spraying is 1 to 2 times higher than that between 10°C and 15°C.

Myth 2: Apply in dry weather. If the weather is used under high-temperature and dry weather conditions from 10 o'clock in the morning to 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the farmers report poor results. This is mainly due to insufficient humidity in the environment. Such as Beauveria bassiana, as a fungus insecticide, the preparation mainly contains white-zomidine spores, and after application, it is directly contacted with the worm body, or is eaten by insects into the digestive tract, and the spores are germinated under suitable conditions. Breeding, resulting in beauvericin, etc., causing the pests to die slowly. The hyphae and conidia on the dead worms spread to other healthy worms through contact or by means of air currents, causing an epidemic and causing a large number of individuals to die. The Beauveria bassiana, which has fallen into the soil, can also survive in the soil and infect the parasites in the second year and continue to act as insecticides with significant aftereffects. Therefore, it is best to use when the humidity is high, such as cloudy days, rain or morning.

Misunderstanding 3: Do not avoid the sun. There was no use of noon avoiding high temperatures and strong sunlight, causing a drop in efficacy. Microbiological live pesticides are most afraid of strong sunlight. Ultraviolet rays in sunlight have a lethal effect on spores, and ultraviolet radiation can also produce deformation and decrement effects on parasporal crystals. Therefore, it is better to use them after 4 o'clock in the afternoon or on cloudy days.

Misunderstanding 4: Mix with fungicide. As bulk fungus, as a fungal insecticide, the efficacy is achieved by the action of live spores of the genus Lactarius. After being applied, live spores infested the aphids and died. The infections can be sustained and cause massive deaths. However, as a kind of living fungi, if they are mixed with fungicides, they are killed by fungicides and naturally lose the insecticidal effect.

Goji Berry ( [Goji" means [happy") , also called wolfberry, has been used for thousands of years by herbalists in China to protect the liver, help eyesight, boost immune function, improve circulation, and promote longevity and overall well being. It has only recently gained popularity in the west, it has become so polar, in fact, the Time Magazine recently named the Goji berry as [super-fruit" of the year. A big reason why Goji berries have quickly become a favorite nutritional supplement is that its impressive list of ingredients. The Goji berry, also called the wolfberry, is a bright purplish red or purple red berry that comes from a shrub that is native to China. In Asia, goji berries have been eaten for generation in the hope of living longer.
